My sister in law is dropping by there next week to fill a growler or two for our beach trip. Any idea which beers are available for fills for non-members, and do you have to have Deviate growlers in order to get a fill? Thanks for any information!

This. I moved out here in March, just after the last membership was sold. I'd love to get in on the action when they open it back up.

They only allow growler fills of their basic IPA. Most Indiana places will fill other growlers but they have to slap their sticker on them. Not sure what Deviate does.

Thanks! Does Deviate have growlers available for purchase? If they do, she could just end up grabbing one there. Saw they just put on a Cucumber IPA, sounds delicious.

Deviate sells growlers and also fills outside growlers. They don't bother slapping a sticker on another brewery's growler; they just take and fill. Hop Supremacy only for non-members. Can't hurt to just ask when they'll open up more memberships for the Club...

They were talking about open up memberships last month. Sounds like a phone call is in order.

Main Monkey Business popped back up on the board last night. Love that beer, can't wait to get over there to get my fix!

thoughts on the Scottish Strong with coffee and strawberry? One of the few beers that didn't really work for me. The maple syrup wood aged stout was pretty tasty...loaded with maple syrup and almost too much of it.

I really enjoyed the velcro pajamas, though my wife said she found the addition of strawberries "somewhat medicinal." Re: Canadian Woodie, we unfortunately were there too early Saturday night, thus we missed it.

Will be back this weekend to give it a try, can't wait. Will post my thoughts.

They brought Canadian Woody to the Microbrewer's fest. I thought it was one of the best beers there.

Couple new beers on. New Supremacy is the Midwest Coast IPA. Think Pliny the Elder with a touch of that NE juiciness. By far my favorite of the Supremacy beers.

Dark Grounds is a coffee imperial stout and I thought it was faaaaantastic. Tons of coffee in this one. Two great beers.

Also, they suspended growler fills for the general public because they are low on beer. Hope that's temporary.

Yeah, I was in on Sunday holding up the bar and chatting with Greg. Prepare for lots of imperial stouts, as I think that's what they have in the cooler right now (not that I'm complaining). They are having trouble keeping up with demand, which is both a good and bad thing. I'm going to be back in there this weekend. Not sure what day yet. Anyone else going?

Wow the Supremacy is world class. I ordered a flight of 4 I hadn't had yet, been travelling for work, and ordered it to fill my growler after the first sip. Just awesome. Thought the Woody was very good, Dark Grounds was solid, the porter was good, still not a fan of the Death Punch line and the Velcro was not my thing. Was nice to get 6 beers in my flight of 4......

Sounds like the Midwest Style Supremacy is here to stay and they will play with that recipe, rather than playing with the hops featured. I, for one, am way ok with that.

I visited Deviate tonight for a flight and couple full pours. Agree with those touting the most recent Hop Supremacy. Just fantastic, maybe my favorite Indy IPA so far. Also had the Canadian Woody, Dark Grounds, Cinnamex and Velcro Pajamas. Cinnamex is one of the better smelling beers I've ever had (I love cinnamon), but Hop Supremacy MWC1 stole the show for me.

Spent most of Saturday afternoon there, still my favorite spot in the area. I was surprised how not crowded it was considering the time of day. Aside from a couple of brew buses that created an influx of patrons, there were probably only 9-10 people floating around.

Still am in love with the Cinnamex, but Canadian Woodie is a close second. I was really excited for Dark Grounds, but I thought the mouth feel was a little weak for how much coffee flavor it had.

Also, still no word on if/when they're opening up the memberships again. They hoped it would be "soon" (as do i!)

I'm loving dark grounds. it reminds me a bit of Bells Java Stout which I think is one of the most underrated coffee stouts.....

I agree, MWC1 is fantastic. That said, I wish they'd tone down their maple. They are ridiculously in your face.
