Not yet. Rumor has it that the Binny's might be doing single bottles. Don't have any confirmation on this though. Have you called/stopped by anywhere yet?

I was just at the Skokie Binny's, and they have it. Also, they are doing singles there (no idea of price). I left that garlicy/oniony mess there for you guys though

DiCarlos in Mundelein (the old Armanettis up there) had a few bottles as singles last night. Also had some Frangelic. Very knowledgeable beer guy up there, too.

Save your time going Chicago chasing...there is plenty here in Michigan if you can wait for your visit at the end of the month.

Looks like a lot of the Binny's have it as singles. $5.99 a bottle... Why doesn't Founders at least put this in a bomber for $12-15. At least then you would be getting a big bottle and feel like you're getting something for your money. (...but i still want to get some....shhh)

Thats my store. This years Devil Dancer does'nt have that garlic/onion hit to it. I agree better off in bombers, 6 bucks for 12 oz :grimacing:

Since when did this become a sought after, behind the counter beer? Never mind the $19 4 pack price. Is it a good beer? Sure. I just cant believe people would have a hard time finding it and stores are setting limits. A Founders limited release? My friend told me Founders is a good micro brew. Must have! Choo choo! All aboard the hype train!

It's been circa $20/4-banger for at least the last few years, even at the brewery.

Founders....hype? Think they have earned their name from the A after A most have given them in beer ratings.

It has been that way for awhile. Last year I was able to get a 4 pack without any issues, but just like other big name brewerys lately, they go quick.

I am glad this years will be better. I still have 1 bottle from last year in hope that age will mellow it out.

They had one 4 pack on the shelf at the HyVee in Sycamore yesterday. Something like $21.50 maybe?

I bought a 4 pack at Castle Vav (Binny's-Lincoln Park) late last week, but I'm unaware of the availability in the 'burbs. It was just over $20. For the record, this year's batch is fantastic. If you like big DIPA's (yes, I know it's a Triple IPA) and are passing on it, you're missing out.

I think it's mostly because most stores didn't get a huge supply so they are limiting it to ensure everyone can get one. I dont think it reflects the demand as much as it does the short supply.
