Founders really should lower the price by $5 a 4 pack. $20+ a 4 pack is really over the top IMHO.

Is your shop in Eastern PA by any chance? (Forget the driving distance comment, that was pretty stupid on my part.)

I liked this years offering, but I agree not the best from Founders. My local store has LOTS of 4 packs...maybe that's saying something.

I saw it and passed - no way I'm plopping down $22 for a 4-pack of unknown brew..

I loved it every bit as much this year as the past years.

Whatever changes may occur between years have yet to sway my opinion and interest in this beer.
Last year it lasted for a while in my area - I hope its the same scenario this year as I definitely want to pick up more.

I just feel Founders beers have been falling off over the last year/year and a half. I don't know what it is (something with the yeast?), but their beers are not the same. Devil Dancer, Backwoods (don't get me started), Breakfast Stout, Double Trouble (the May something batch I enjoyed, not the buttery April one), Harvest Ale were all off this last year. I love Founders, but have been finding something off putting about them lately...diminished quality.

Like others have been saying, it's hard to swallow that price tag if I'm not sure if it's glorious or not

Only had this year's version, and I definitely wasn't a fan. I will disagree with the sentiment of Founders falling off, however. I've gotten to try every distributed release so far, and to me personally, DD has been the only dud of the lot.

I might have to go up there and grab some, not a single shop in Kzoo has gotten any yet, and none of them know why except they say 'Blame Imperial'.

I had it once, and I'll never have it again so it certainly hasn't gone to my cellar/fridge so I couldn't tell ya.

It's around here. People snatch it up because it says Founders. IMO, it's the only thing moving this beer.

I'm not paying that much for a beer I know I'm not fond of.. Not matter how many people lie about it tasting better than last year, when it taste the same.. I was open minded and got a single of it this year.

I'm just curious of the hold-up, I drove to GR and got my first 4 pack of it and can get another from Founder's but its easier and I am a bit lazy just to go down to my local shop and get it from them, frustration that its bout out for a month and not in Kalamazoo, but I can get Rubaeus fairly easy now (and I hope to for the rest of the summer as its pretty darn good!).

I think its great this year, best in about 4 years for me. Last year was good, but not much to be had in my area. Two years ago it was an onion-bomb and I was disappointed. This year - very good and very available. YMMV.
