'Just got word from a "semi-local" supplier that some cases may be available. I appreciate the offer, though!

For Central PA (ie State College) folks, Hop Shop just posted on FB that they got a shipment...

I just had some Devil Dancer on tap the other night. It was my first experience with it, and I liked it a lot. That said, for a DIPA (or Triple IPA, as they call it), it's not hoppy in the same way I expected. It IS hoppy, but it's so incredibly malty and sweet, it struck me more like a Barleywine (which should not really be a surprise).

I will probably try it again while I can, but if I'm looking for a citrus or pine hop bomb, it won't be the choice; and that's absolutely fine.

I had this years for the first time a few nights ago and I completely agree with OPs opinion that it was similar to Double Bastard. That's not necessarily a bad thing but I was hoping for something different.

Just had one for the 1st time last night and I agree with the majority; Very malt forward, boozy even. Had I tried it blindfolded, I wouldn't have even guessed it was an IIPA. Enjoyable, but very unexpected characteristics.

Lucky enough to score one of these on draft so I didn't have to spring for the full 4 pack. It tasted exactly the same to me as it has in the past. It is thick and aggressive. You need to prepare yourself for that going in. it is like a pine sap/citrus rind milkshake.

Haven't had GUBNA, but Resin is pretty good and Double Trouble is a world class DIPA. At around $14-15 a 4 pack, I've paid much worse for lower quality beers.

I would heartily agree with Roguer's view that this tastes more like a barleywine. Tastes almost like olde gnarlywine to me.

DD and DT taste the same to you? Did you do a side by side? They are literally nothing alike.
