I have a 2011 and a 2012 DFH 12 min. The question is, when would you suggest trying them? I don't want it to be a boozy mess, but I don't want the flavors aged out of them.

Cheap enough to aquire again - drink them. Get 2 more, age them and refer to your notes when you open them.

The flavors won't be aged out of them, at roughly 18% it will last quite a while. 120 fresh is pretty hot and boozy, but still good. I've recently had a 2011 120 (which I guess makes it about 6 months old) and it cooled down a little but not really.

Its really your call, but I wouldn't worry about the flavors fading, they will only improve.

At $45/4 pack I would hardly call this cheap. Still worth it though.

I like it fresh and aged. Aged is better IMO. I would give it at least a year or two.

That takes some incredible skill, Heatwave33! I need a storage area that isn't easily accessible....

I would suggest not drinking them. You'll be better off.

Drink the freshest one now, save the older one for later

I haver had 120 many times (and the Heaven and Hell as well). I strongly suggest a long aging. Forget you own them and discover their brilliance in a few years.

Will do. Probably within 2 weeks. Don't wanna just do any random time - like a work night! =)

In my opinion, the mix, which blends rather than black and tanning, is better than the sum of its parts when fresh.

The pics I have seen on the net show a black and tan appearance - not a mix? Hmmmm.....maybe something to pouring technique? Found this on the net, and as you know the Internet is ALWAYS right! /sarcasm

I did it in November at an event and maybe they messed up the gravity order. Either way, it was good and better than each on their own.
