Nothing on the DFH website other than "thee" schedule which says it will be out in June. Any BAs out there with additional info?
My main store got it in today (with a 1 bottle per person limit...), so I'd imagine you'd get it within the next few days.
Wow...this stuff has been just sitting on the shelf at my local store for I'd say at least a year. I'd buy some up, just to experiment with aging, but my budget simply won't support that. Gotta be almost a case worth. EDIT: Now I gotta check the date tomorrow. I hope to pick some up when I have a few extra bucks.
I have a couple bottles from the last 3 years. It's a fun brew to drag out from time to time. Not really an IPA anymore, but it's fun.
I have a bunch from the last few years also. Is this better aged in the fridge or cellar? I know generally IPA's should be in the fridge but 120 is not your typical IPA so was wondering.
I got a bottle about a month ago in Holland MI. Must be from last years batch. Ill have to look and see if there is a bottle date on it. I think i paid something like $11ish
Sadly probably my least favorite Dogfish IPA, I guess I really just enjoy the hop forward flavors. I do however know of a location that has some bottles from 2008 for sale, like 30 bucks a bottle.
Got one in my fridge now, I think it's from the February batch, it's been sitting in there for two months, waiting for the right moment. First time I left a beer sit in my fridge for over a month. Be interesting to see how it is.
I've seen it sitting on shelves plenty of times...really doesn't do much for me these days. The 2014 will complete my 3 year vert though and I can finally see how it ages.
I got 12 bottles last year. Drank one fresh. Boozy mess and a little pissed I got so much. Recently cracked opened a bottle and it was entirely a different beer. Like a citrusy barleywine. No booziness whatsoever. I'd put it in the upper echelon of my favorites. Damn tasty.
