I noticed this job posting on the DFH career page - I could be led to believe that DFH is looking to enter the MN market? http://www.dogfish.com/careers?p=job/ojsX3fwv
DFH coming to MN would not surprise me. DFH is predicting flat sales in 2016 and to increase sales is in the process of hiring over 50 new salespeople to help them expand into a number of new markets in 2017.
Eh.......Some of the beers are decent enough but won't really find a place in my rotation. Mostly see it as one more brand that will sell well for a few weeks and then take up shelf space (already in short supply) as sales tail off..
I can only speak for myself, but I'd love to see 60 Minute & 90 Minute on shelves regularly. And they pump out enough unique seasonal or one-off releases that I think they'll find & maintain a market here. It's the Harpoons of the world - without much in the way of differentiation from 20 or 30 other breweries already on shelves - that IMHO fit your description perfectly. We shall see...I hope!
If I can get the occasional bottle of World Wide Stout or Immort Ale ( along with 60 and 90) without driving to Wisconsin, I'll be a happy man.
