DFH Positive Contact Pricing

I don't think the 6 packs had started showing up in very many local stores when this email was sent out, so it probably wasn't clear initially just how bad a deal this was. One might have their suspicions, based on past practices by PP, but even I was surprised that the PP would pull something like this on their mailing list customers. The fact PP made it clear that customers would need to act quickly to take advantage of the deal... pretty hard to come to any other conclusion except that they hoped a lot of folks would jump in and buy the 6 packs at the "special" price before they realized they were getting screwed.
