Will be in the DFW area for training from 10/17 to 10/21. Staying in Farmers Branch and have training in Coppell TX. Not sure if I will have a rental car or use Uber. Looking for recommendations for breweries/bars/takeout.

Hey @bkbergen you're staying in an odd area for craft beer. Odd Muse is the only brewery in that area I'd recommend. As far as package stores, Webb Chapel Beer & Wine is close and worth a visit, but Lone Star Beverages is an overall better store. There's also a Specs near by in Addison, but I haven't been by there in some time. Food recs, don't miss Cris and John, it's a cool little Vietnamese TexMex fusion. Cheers!

3 Nations in Carrollton is five minutes from Farmer's, fifteen minutes from Coppell. There's a Flying Saucer near by. Be prepared to drive 15-30 minutes to get anywhere. I'm nosy, what's the training for?

Yeah I will put this out there, there are worse places than Hop and Sting. I actually enjoyed it a few years ago when I went. Their Belgian IPA made it down to Houston a few times and I grabbed it whenever I found it, also brought a six-pack home with me, sucker for a Belgian IPA :flushed:
