    Good Evening Everyone,
I know we’re about a month out so I thought I’d ask now since I’m a bit new to the area. Any good places to look for BCBS aside from TW and local Specs locations?

I usually like to keep a few bottles of regular lying around throughout the year. There’s a few variants I’m also looking for although it’s unclear which ones we’ll even see here.

Don't buy BCBS. You have better options

Sure, there are more “independent” options. But in terms of quality, consistency, price and availability, the list of better options is short, if it exists at all in the DFW area.

Not sure if HEB has made an entrance into the Dallas area, I know Central Market is there. If those Central Markets have an upscale beer program then odds are good they will get a pretty good allotment and variety. The HEBs in Houston that have a good beer program tend to get a good selection, or used to.

Good point! I forgot about Central Market. We’re getting an HEB about half a mile from my house some time next year.

Hopefully it is one of the upscale ones, they tend to have a good beer selection. Most of the upscale ones start out with a really good beer selection and if the product moves they tend to maintain it. If it doesn't they eventually scale it back even though it is usually better than most grocery stores.

For variants, Total Wine will be your best bet. They usually know the variants they are getting 1-2 weeks before BF. Lone Star Beverage and Kegs & Barrel usually get a decent selection of variants. Regular BCBS can be found typically at Kroger plus all the places mentioned. It sits around usually until Jan
