DFW Beer Advocate Map (For Tastings, Etc)

Brewed is right in my hood, I could walk there! Zio Carlo's bewpub is on the same street (Magnolia). Ummm.... The downtown Saucer.

World of Beers in Arlington off I20 and Cooper. Great selection, but a little over priced in my opinion. They do have flights though, which is pretty nice. You can choose any four beers on draught.

 

I don't think the Downtown Saucer will work anymore, since they serve liquor now. If I'm not mistaken, that was why we had to move the last big tasting from the Moth to the Addison Saucer.

 

Actually no, I drummed up the interest last time but actually didn't make the arrangements. Anyone else who went to the last one recall any contact info?

 

If I get a chance I'll ask Landon about using the Rodeo Goat patio. It's plenty big enough, covered, and with fire pits in case it's cold (who am I kidding its TX).

The one problem with Brewed is it's relative size and how busy it is.

Zio Carlo's is probably out due to the liquor license issue as well.

 

If I remember, Matt Quenette worked on the last bottle share that got moved to the Addison Saucer. He's not at the Moth anymore...does Sam get on BA?

I'd be willing to ask The Bottle Shop if they would host a bottle share if there is any interest in that? It's a little smaller, and I know it's a ways for those not in Dallas, but they also have a pretty decent tap selection, do growler fills, and have plenty of stuff you can buy and take home. I've never been to a bottle share and don't know what's involved, but I'd be willing to ask if they'd host one.

I missed the Craft and Grower share event (sadly) and am new here, but have been doing some homebrewing for a bit over a year, and would be interested in the next meetup either east or out west. Also you can put me on the map in the Deep Ellum area (Live Oak and Texas St.).

 

Actually Matt is back at the Moth, he's not the head cellarman anymore though as Justin has taken on that responsibility. If you guys want to host at Addison Saucer, I have a contact at that location. Let me know if I can help!
