Well, somehow the other thread I started has disappeared. DFWBeerScene is my blog dedicated to following local breweries. Any kind of self publication they seem to be removing now days... it's pathetic. I put up a simple post about a new Maui Brewing and Jolly Pumpkin Collab with some of my opinions and someone edited it, removing my opinions. Too bad ratebeer.com is such a visually unappealing site, this place would crash and burn.
Self bumps are also considered a no-no. Maybe just start a new thread once a week, something titled like "DFW Brewery Blog Weekly Update 4/29-5/5" A friend ran into one of the guys from Revolver, an ex Sam Adams employee, over the weekend and he mentioned that September would be a likely month for first production stuff. They had a couple tasters for the Wine Fest and my buddy said they both tasted more than OK. Was kinda hoping they would be setup for weekends at the lake. But that's all second hand info so consider it just a rumor.
Thanks for the info guys. Revolver did a beer tasting last Sat in Granbury, so I expect more to come before they get into full swing in Sept. I guess I'll be making a new thread each time then. Thanks again for reading. Anyone coming to DEBC this Sat? I should be there. Can't wait to try that saison!
