DFW - Founders Launch Information

The moth has it at 5pm today, per their twitter....

 

Good luck for anyone going. I would get there at 5pm sharp... it lasted all of a couple hours at Goodfriend yesterday, I can't imagine how fast it will go at Meddlesome today.

 

Wish I could go, will someone hold a glass for me for 4 hours or so? lol

 

Chill guys. Plenty of places got their beer...many received it early so the kegs didn't disappear from the warehouse.

The Founders people will be here on or around the 18th for many events. With the small allotments numerous places are holding back until then. The exact same thing happened for Firestone Walker and should be expected for things like Doom and KBS ( although I cannot fault Live Oak for tapping their kegs now).

 

Oh, wasn't trying to bash Goodfriend or Saucer. I'm definitely being a beer brat right now. Living in North Fort Worth, I was hoping somewhere in Tarrant county would tap a KBS so I could make it. I'd love to make it to Goodfriend soon, I've heard nothing but great things and I always love new craft beer joints!

 

I understand, I'm hoping to come destroy Ft Worth bars I've never been to here soon.

 

Ill keep you in the loop as best I can about KBS tappings. Pencil in the 18th but don't quote me on it for the Saucer event.

I'm considering the drive to Moth to secure a pint or two while not having to work the same day. Anybody else?

 

Leaving work around 2:30-3:00 to get there. Got a green light from the wife haha. So ticket sales start at 4:30 and keg gets tapped at 5?

 

The crowd at Goodfriend was pretty minimal yesterday. Moth on the other hand, I don't see that keg lasting any more than 15-20 minutes tops. I haven't been to an event there in over a year and considering how many more people are aware of their tappings nowadays, I imagine it'll be a circus. I would get there even before 4:30 if you can.

 

Yea I'm going to skip out..a lot of hassle for only one glass

 

Any details on the Founders event today at the FW Saucer?

 

4 pm Reds Rye and Dirty Bastard go on with Centenial (All Day may arrive in time).

6pm KBS gets tapped.

Ill be there around the same time. I'm going to be working a bit during the start but I should have time to sit down for some pints once the KBS starts flowing at 6. It would surprise me if we haven't met before if only in passing
