@kscaldef Looks like I was way off base. I stand corrected.

Anyone have a floor I can crash on? I'm bringing a Kane Cortijo and a Pizza Boy Golden Sour.

Anyone with an extra ticket that they can transfer for tomorrow's party? Can pay above face value or send a thank you box / offer a couple of bottles from the allocation in exchange for the ticket. PM me if interested, thanks!

Fun time with you guys. But a few people nearly got us shut down. A group of 5 or 6 young (21 , MAYBE 22 year olds) drinking every beer . Getting loud and screaming. It was amateur hour up there. That's why the big bottles were opened in private with 10 or so people. It was also surprising to me that I didn't notice even 1/4 of the people at the share. It got so out of hand that peolle left. We had the lead singer of the Deftones at the share, Chino, who also left because of the roudy ass people.

Funny. An experience I have more often with De Garde than any other brewery is opening up one of the not-so-beloved bottles 6 months or a year after release and thinking "this is incredible." Not sure if they just get lost in the shuffle of all the Bu and they don't shine in that context or that they integrate with time. I had a similar experience a couple weeks ago with Temps & Poivre; such great floral and pinot aroma / flavor, mellow acidity ... great with food like a more acidic light red wine would be.

That's good to hear, because I was just looking at a bottle of that in the cellar and contemplating opening it today. Thanks!
