I'm currently boiling my first attempt at a cream ale. I'm going to use US-05, and I was going to ferment at 62 F. When fermentation is finished would you recommended a diacetyl rest?

90 minute boil minimum of you're using corn maize. Which I assume you are since that's how most cream ales are done. I can't imagine why you wouldn't do a diacetyl rest.

Full boil extract with specialty grains: 0.25 lbs biscut, and 0.75 lbs honey malt. 6 # Pilsner LME. 1oz cluster (7.2%AA) 60 minute addition. No maize anywhere that I know if.
