Diacetyl Rest Temperature and Time?

    Is it correct to do a diacetyl rest when your FG is almost reached and to up your ferm. temp up in the low to mid sixties for a couple days? I did it when it was 2 degrees from FG and it did the trick. set my my temp to 62 for 2 days then checked gravity. I then began lagering.

    My American adjunct lager turned out perfectly by the way. I kegged it and it tastes just like bud light all the way. Why make it? It was for my dad. Did my process work. Most definitely. How hard is it? Not hard if u have the means for temp control
