Has anyone been here and has thoughts? Is it walkable from the Inner Harbor? What beers should I try? Thanks for the help!
Definitely walkable from the Inner Harbor but some might consider it a hike (1.7 miles). There are water taxis that take you over as well; if you went to the Tide Point stop it wouldn't be a bad walk down (less than a mile I think). Unfortunately I haven't been there so I can't give you any recommendations on that side of things.
Depends on where in the harbor you are. From fells/canton its not walkable, from fed hill or anywhere else in locust point probably walkable. As Nero said you can take a water taxi or take a quick Uber. For the beers, they have been doing the hazy IPA thing recently with some encouraging results thus far. They had a pretty good berry sour on this weekend thats worth trying as well
They opened up last October in this location. I've been there a few times. It is definitely walkable from the harbor. They sit back a little bit so it could be confusing to find at first, but just follow the big smoke tower with their logo on it and it will wrap around the building to their spot. Last few times I've been there, they've had about 5 beers on tap. Green machine is a solid IPA. If you like sours, I would recommend their Berry Sour Dave if you can. When are you visiting? They are doing a can release of DDH Hop Broth on 6/10. The first couple batches of regular Hop Broth were great.
I will be there this coming weekend so will miss that can release. I don't mind walking so I think I will trek up from the Sheraton Inner Harbor early Saturday afternoon. Always like to try a new place.
Hop Broth release this past Saturday was a scene. ~120 cases went in an hour. Just missed the cans, but pretty tasty on draft!
That crowd definitely exceeded everyone's expectations. I got there right at 12 and thought i would be ok for a full allotment, turned the corner and was surprised. Got just inside the door as the dropped limits from a case to a half case. I talked to one of the guys who works there and he said the last handful of cases went down to 1 4pk pp so they could make sure everyone got some. By far the best beer they've done yet.
