Did cherry rye ever make it to NY?

Brooklyn is dry. Called WF and TH but no delivery today

 

Has anyone checked WF or Top Hops (or New Beer) since Saturday? I might make a trip into the city later if it's worth my time.

 

Nothing at WF yesterday. Checking again today, so I'll post back here when I get an update.

 

Ok. I know Ted from TH was pretty certain he was going to get some in yesterday or today but I think the weather might have affected things

Any update on NYC area? My Brooklyn guy keeps telling me he's waiting on the distributor, but assures me he's getting a case. I've heard rumors Manhattan might have some.​

 

My spots in NYC haven't gotten it yet, FWIW.

 

Still hasn't hit Westchester area according to my distributor, They have no solid date unfortunately.

 

Did you check Top Hops? New Beer? I want to stop by after work tonight but it's wayyyy out of my way home.

 

called a few places, WF and New Beer included, and they all said "hopefully next week". I'll be calling back on friday, but i wouldn't expect it this week.

 

Didn't check those two but did check WF and another likely candidate, so I'd think it's just not here yet. Maybe call Top Hops? New Beer is useless over the phone.

Looks like the waiting game continues a little longer.

 

I called Top Hops on Sunday but they didn't have it, and I Tweeted and FBed them but still no answer. If I get a response I'll let you know. I'm also thinking of checking Bierkraft and Eagle as well, but don't feel like paying the crazy mark-up there (likely to be $30/bottle knowing them).

 

From what I've been told by one of the reps, it still has not been delivered yet for NYC distribution.

 

Each could be more - Eagle was charging $30 and Bierkraft $36 for Black Ops, for Pete's sake.

I checked with New Beer (am I allowed to say that name in here?), they don't have it either.

 

That's a disgrace - WF was charging $19.99 for Black Ops a few weeks ago when i got it

 

on monday, TH said likely next week.

 

Jimmy's 43 has 2012 Black Ops on the bottle menu for $70. It's $19.99 8 blocks away.

 

Yeah - and they (Eagle) were selling De Dolle Stille Nacht 2010 for $51. $51!!!

I'm also not sure how everyone is charging this much for Black Ops, as I see it everywhere and it seems to be doing a lot of sitting around on shelves.
