I'm not in the industry but from my standpoint this sounds like it could be good news for us. I've heard that we miss out on a lot of Shelton stuff since Elite only allows CO stores to place orders quarterly (correct me if I'm wrong). I've found my thread to be glued to for today...

As long as someone picks up the Shelton stuff from Bamberg, this is no biggie to me.

The Crooked Stave connection would be a good guess. But I have no official word.

I am from NJ, work as a beer geek at a liqour store in NJ and Shelton has pulled out from thier distributor-Hunterdon. Shelton supposedly did the same thing with thier Upstate NY distributor, TJ Sheehan. Shelton Brothers has been having some legal trouble. Would not surprise me if this is happening country wide. It sucks b/c no more Mikkeller, Nogne, 8 Wired etc.

This is indeed true, I just want to see more glassware on shelfs. Hopefully "you know who" will bring in these collectible items for us glassware *****s. But we could be a year out before we see anything distrod to CO from the shelton catalogue

I'm also interested in seeing what comes of Jolly Pumpkin. They have a deal with elite but also distro through Shelton.

A year isn't long enough to get rid of the "shelf turds" that Shelton brings along with the good stuff. If they were smart Shelton would start their own distributorship, then they could be responsible to clean up their own messes. Jolly Pumpkin is a dead brand for the most part so I wouldn't worry about them becoming "more dead".
