Did we ruin Bourbon County?

Does the crowd that boycotts Goose Island products because of them being owned by ABI also boycott gas companies like Shell that have essentially admitted to murdering Nigerians?

Or is beer ownership where you draw your line in the sand?

 

Never had it, but there are a number of great alternatives that I have. Can't see busting my ass and my wallet for ABI.

He's stupid?? You waited at 2 am for effing beer. IT'S JUST BEER. I used to look all over for beers that were hard to get and of course very delicious, now I don't. I don't what changed in me but I realized my time and money were best used elsewhere.

I went to my local shop in hope of getting some coffee but of course there was no coffee only rye, BW and reg. I waited 30 minutes before they opened, felt a little silly but hey, it was the last time I chased or waited for beer in years. I suggest you start brewing (if you haven't already) with your time instead of waiting in line, you'll appreciate beer more.

 

I appreciate beer plenty. I went and hung out with friends laughing, talking, and telling stories when I would otherwise be sleeping. Time you enjoy wasting is not wasted. Maybe grab some friends and you would mind waiting so much. We had a great time and a great bottle share.

 

With all the negative responses your comment received I think it just shows that one person's stupid is another person's smart. Better not to be judgmental since all of us live in glass houses to a certain degree

 

I don't like standing in line for anything...much less a BEER...It's not a kidney,it's no nectar of the gods,it's just a decent damn beer....Yes,we have created our own whales.

People will stand in line for anything that is coveted. Why would you think beer would be any different?
