Hey, a trade partenr picked me up some Green label Arthur at the Harvest Fest. I've seen something about there being a Blue label Arthur as well, what's the difference? Just curious.

    Thanks

if my sources are correct... i believe it is the yeast strain. Shaun told me something about a different yeast he used. it is personally one of my favorite beers. i should have gotten more then two bottles.

I cannot speak to the exact difference, but the bottle I had of Arthur with a blue label was awesome. I enjoyed it more than Art and regular Arthur. Really great stuff. Regular Arthur is really good too though.

The blue label I had was a one bottle limit at the E./Art release a while back. Might be hard to track down now.

Yep, you're right. This is copied and pasted right from an email from Shaun when I asked the same question:

From what I have been noticing HF's barrel aged saison's have the same color scheme as their regular saison counterpart. Arthur and Art (green), Anna and Ann (yelllow)...and I can only assume that the "Blue Label Aurthur" would be the label for Florence because Flora is blue. I may be right, I may be totally wrong...correct me if I'm wrong.

The Arthur on tap at the Harvest fest was fairly tart. How much different was that from the blue label (if there is one)?
