What are the differences between the different Pizza Port locations (if any)? Do you recommend 1 over any of the others?

Heading to Stone & Societe on Friday... and possibly Green Flash/Toronado/Hamilton's. Driving from Laguna, so the Pizza Ports are all accessible and would love to hit one up on the trip.

Only difference is whatever the head brewer has made and is on tap. Hit any of 'em and you won't be dissappointed, but if you go during family dinner time of 6 to 8pm-ish...they'll be packed.

San Clemente might be a nice trip breaker - are you driving up and back all in the same day?

We hit the newish OB location over the summer and it was great. Awesome house and guest taps (lots of Societe incidentally). Then we hit the San Clemente location over T-day break and had the exact opposite experience. Overall though, I always have a good experience at any PP.

I have a soft spot for the Carlsbad PP. And you can head next door to buy bottles either from Texas Wine or the PP bottle shop.

I haven't been to all of them, but Carlsbad has some of SC beers. The one in SC is 10 -15 min away from Laguna and you could go there anytime. If driving to SD, you might as well go to one of the others down there.

Also, here is the hard to read tap cams.

OB has the best bar guest taps and bet bar feel. And when they're primo house shit is on tap it is as good or better then any of the others as well.

If you are only in town for a few days and are flexible, make sure you check the tap cams.

Another Laguna dude?!! Me too. Anyways, I'm always down at the San Clemente PP. not sure about the others, but I know this one is the biggest. I'd also wager the San Clemente location has One of the best brewers as well (multiple beer cup medals for San Clemente location)Right now on tap they have Claudies Lager which is essentially a Humulus lager clone. Both 7.2% hopped out lagers. Had them a week apart and really couldn't tell the difference. And I believe Humulus lager is the Bruery's highest rated beer fwiw.

Also, if you are going south for beer, just go to Alpine. Best IPAs on the planet.

I'm pretty sure it's an original recipe and not a clone, but they are similar beers. Fathom from Ballast Point is another similar IPL.

very familiar and i wish, but lady was complaining about the drive last time and wants to check new spots.
