Different Barrel Types

    I know there is a brewery that just got a large shipment of mezcal barrels - not sure what is going in them yet, but my suggestion was some sort of chile beer.

    Also, I'm surprised no one mentioned some of the the more exotic members of the wine family - Sauternes, Vin Jaune, Port, Muscatel, etc. There's some Dark Lord resting in the latter two for next spring.

    Dare I mention Port-Barrel aged Bare Tree?

    Also, add the upcoming Madeira barrel coffee stout from Hill Farmstead that I am ISO!

    Balvenie uses bourbon and sherry barrels!

    Had a bordeaux barrel aged Laika RIS from Straight to Ale.
