Different Models of Johnson Controls Temperature Controllers

Can someone explain the feature differences between the analog A19AAT-2C and the older A19AAT-1? These are both Johnson Controls temperature controllers that convert a chest freezer into a refrigerator. They look nearly identical.

 

One point that is interesting is that the -1 model sells for about one-third the price of the used -2C model. The wiring of the probe looks better with the -2C, but I am not sure that is worth paying for.
