Going on the tour this Saturday and looking for food options nearby. Any recommendations? Would like it to be within a couple miles if possible (no need to suggest Town Hall, Republic, or anything in Mpls). Thanks!

How do you feel about cheap chain food? Thats about all that is really close to the brewery.

I would second Victory 44. Went there once after a tour. The bacon fries are a must try.

Travail is the best in the area, hands down. Ask for a "Fender" (mix of furious/bender), which is delicious. Go with the 2 person tasting menu if you have 2 people w you. Amazing food!

Go with Travail really amazing food, and I second the tasting menu suggestion. A little pricey but so worth it.

Travail is awesome. The tasting menu is something like $60 during the week and $85 on the weekend. This is for TWO people though. When we went, between the small bites and the 6 main courses, I think we tried 14 different things.

Be prepared to wait quite a while to get into Travail. My vote would be Victory 44. Equally as good on the food level with a better beer selection.

3 Squares in Maple Grove isn't far from Surly. Also Travail but you'll be waiting an hour or two and the bill will be $100+
