Releases have been 3-4 months apart with about a 3-4 week heads up. Last one was in June and there's no info of an upcoming one. I'd say there won't be a July release.

Not happening since they just released it at the end of June.

Last time I was at the MBC tasting room I asked about it and was told it would not be released again until October.

This is the exact answer I got when I was there on Sunday. Person I talked to at the bar said they would release info about the release about a month before on social media. He also added that they only brew it four times a year.

Just saw this on FB - https://www.facebook.com/events/481544932021884/

"- Receive a special ticket to purchase a case of our Double IPA, Dinner, at their leisure during the October release - no standing in line!"

Seems like next Dinner release is in October.

Hope to be there @Reds76 !

I'll be there @SRBush1974!!! Definitely in October. Will probably get the exact date a few weeks before. Let's do another IP trade if it works out!

I don't understand the logic behind releasing their most popular beer only 4 times a year.

It definitely helps create hype and allows them to sell out at a higher price point. You do kind of have to wonder though if they'd be selling even more if they put their two or three most popular options in 4 or 6 packs.

People are all over them for the price, but I don't get it. I do agree that it is high, and I hate the 16.9 format, but the price is right in line with the Trillium IPA and DDH offerings (and many others). Not comparing the beers themselves, or what it takes to get them, just saying that the price is not crazy compared to what others are doing.

After the low attendance and ease of the last release I do wonder how this one will go. Would still love to see a cash only line...

32oz of something like Mo would generally work out to $12+, which is the same as the most expensive hoppy trillium beers, which are already priced at the higher end of the range. Maine's beer is good, some are even excellent, but their pricing blows.

Dinner clocks in at .47 an oz, based on the 16.9 bottles. I just got some Vicinity, which also comes in at .47. No difference there.

Tree House Haze and Curiosity DIPA's are .27 per oz. Just sayin.

Tree House is a deal. No doubt. Not what the conversation was though. Trillium is one of the darlings of MA right now. Not really surprising they don't catch the same heat as MBC for pricing and poor format. I don't care, I buy Trillium all the time and MBC where MO and Another One are available fresh. I'm also not one to bitch about price (too much). For straight value you can't really touch TH right now IMO.

Trillium is significantly cheaper if you get growlers, but they also have much more expensive rent to pay being in Boston. They are also better, but of course that is just my opinion.

I love Trillium the most, but TH is not far behind in my opinion. Even though TH can't be beat on price, location, for me, plays a big part into it. A lot easier for me to run up to Trillium and hit NEBCO or Night Shift quickly. Also, my brother works 5 min from Trillium, so I can have him grab me anything when I know I'll see him.

Now, back to Dinner. I'd love for a 10/17 or 10/24 release. Last one, my first time there, was super smooth. I know a few things I'd do differently. Mainly getting a room up there on a Saturday and enjoying the area, along with hitting some other breweries. And drinking Dinner on draft!
