    To be perfectly honest with you, I didn't pull up a calender. I was simply informing him as to why some dudes were on his case.

    I didn't just make up a "deadline" nor did I criticize the OP. A 3 month old Pliny tastes like a Barleywne, but a 3 month old Ruination tastes fine, (to me anyway) so results certainly do vary. But a commonly accepted rule of thumb is ~ 3 months for any hop forward ale.

    You should read up on how an AIPA or IIPA is made. Then refer to a Pliny clone specifically.

    yes.
    i really think u wanna be less than a month old.
    But as with everything, some of em hold up better than others.

    I think alesmith ipa, hop stoopid are amazing when fresh (less than a month).
    sucks on the other hand holds up quite well even at close to 3 months.

    Obviously my post was sarcastic... haha You seriously didn't pick up on that? Are you that dense? I know the laws in Cali are a little more lax these days, but lay off man the world is passing you by...
