Had a Laughing Dog Brewing Alpha Dog IIPA the other night. I thought this tastes familiar. Then it hit me that it reminded me of Victory's Dirt Wolf. Now I'm not saying it is as good as DW but it tasted somewhat similar. Not as hoppy and hearty and not as much of a kick, but I think it might possibly make you think of DW. It was only $4.99 for a bomber, which made me skeptical, but ended up being well worth it. Haven't done it yet but I will get a bottle of each and do a taste test. I think AD is worth a try. And maybe try your own taste test? Also have you had an experience like this, maybe with these beers or 2 other brews that tasted similar? Not sure if that's a legit question but am curious to hear about your experience if you think it is. Your thoughts?
4.99 a bomber makes it more expensive than Dirtwolf for me so im not sure id be happy with a Dirtwolf Jr. I cant peg an exact time this has happened to me but it has happened. Also everytime i have something from srone it reminds me of something from stone.
I thought laughing dog alpha dog was piss awful..I think dirtwolf is great..I personally don't see it...
