Could be that they had it ready, but there was a delay in distribution. I'm guessing that you won't encounter this problem in the future, but who knows?

Bought a growler fill of Dirt Wolf at the Victory brewery on Saturday10/12. 1/2 hour plus wait at the bar to have the growler filled. Bar staff very over whelmed-they needed a dedicated growler station person IMO. Bar staff busing dishes and serving food at the bar- stacking glasses etc which slows beer serving and impedes beer sales. Not all that sanitary with bar staff busing dirty dishes and handling glass ware/ full plates of food for waiting customers. Beer is no longer dispensed to growlers via filling tubes causing long wait when beer foams up when being dispensed to a growler. BTW, I succumbed to the hype here about Dirt Wolf and didn't taste it until I got home back here to upstate NY. Not that great IMO

Where abouts? I am in Allegheny County and I've yet to see it. If anyone has seen it in Allegheny County, please let me know.

Save on Beer in Cranberry. I'm in Butler and when my local stores called Vecenie's last week to get it for me they were told it was all gone.

Finally had a few this past weekend. It's a perfectly fine beer. It's not a world beater just solid. My only nitpicking minor problem with it is the noticeable alcohol as it warms. It's not overly harsh by any means but at 8.7% it shouldn't be there at all. Nonetheless it is likely to become a regular in my fridge.
