I live just across the bridge in Jersey, and I can find Dirtwolf everywhere. I don't see cases, but if you're willing to just buy six 4pks, then you easily can. I can't attest to how fresh they are now, but I know that I bought a super fresh 4pk from Wegman's liquors the same week that Dirtwolf released, so it was fresh when i got it a few months ago.
Yes, cases are readilly available in Philly. You don't see "cases" in NJ due to the variation in liquor laws. PA actually makes you buy a whole case if you want more than two 6pks(192 oz). But it's cheaper. As for fresh, the brewery is 45 minutes away.
http://www.beermenus.com/places/6785-moore-beverage Give them a call. They usually get them in decent quantity. I believe they have the latest batch that came out around the same time as Hop Ranch.
I havent seen any Dirt Wolf in SNJ recently. It sucks , I wanted to do a side by side comparison with Hop Ranch just for fun.
Seriously? Where in SNJ are you from? The Shop Rite liquors in Cherry Hill definitely had it two days ago.
Down in West Deptford. I was even up at the Wegmans in Mount Laurel last night and didnt see any. thanks for the tip though!
I was just at the Shop Rite in Cherry Hill again over lunch. There are some in the cold case for sure. Didn't ask them if they have enough for a case or more, though.
Cases and bottles are dated 5 months out from when they were made (Enjoy by May 24 would be bottled on December 24). So figuring out freshness is easy enough.
