Disappearing issues in Google Play

    Has the "disappearing" issue been resolved? I was ready to subscribe today until I saw all the complaints about how their paid issues were being deleted off their device.

    Anyone know the score? Or should I just save my money?

    There was an issue of disappearing issues early on for people opting in for the 14-day trial, but that was during the initial launch and wasn't impacting paid subscribers. So far, it's been working fine with me, and other than the one review you're talking about we haven't had any complaints regarding disappearing issues for paid subscribers. I also wouldn't believe every review you see.

    That said, I'll check in with Google today.

    Oh, and not to put too a fine a point on it, I counted four complaints (click on "Read All Reader Reviews").

    Yep, those were during the initial launch bug and before it had been fixed. We're not aware (other than the most recent complaint, which doesn't provide us with any useful info) of any current issue, nor has Google alerted us of any issues. I've emailed them though and hope to hear back shortly.

    Update: Google's tech team is looking into it, but it seems like it could be a single user issue/misunderstanding.
