A few people have said you can get a 10% discount on shipping my printing your postage online @ fedex.com. I have done both online and in person and have never really noticed a difference....just me??

I usually just go to fedex and have them print for me. You do get about a 10-15 % percent discount but you have to set up a free account to get the discount

You can see the discounts in the detailed invoice. It's there. The biggest thing about online is the fact that you can print the label and drop the box off without any form to fill or questions about the content or standing in line at the store if it's busy. Unless there's a hot store employee that you're dying to see again, I don't really see any reason to go to a FedEx store.

Problem is that FedEx decided to start charging me over $1000 a month for random overnighted FedEx Air shipments that I had no knowledge of, and had to spend an inordinate amount of time calling both FedEx and my bank to reverse these charges. Part of the issue is that they can basically bill anything to your credit card, and if you're not careful like I was, you could end up seeing some nasty charges on your credit card. Just a warning to be vigilant about your FedEx charges if you choose to go with the online account/online label route.
