I'll be in disney world on the 17th. I have the beers and ears app...I don't have a rental car, and I'd love some quality beer when I'm there. What is my best bet? Bring a few in my suit case, try to get someone to do an IP and offer them extra for their trouble? I've heard there are a couple of Hess there. Does anyone know if they sell good beer, or just the macro brews? Thanks for any help!

With no rental car, your best bet is to take a cab to the ABC Liquor on Apopka-Vineland Road. It's not the best selection in the area, but it's more than decent and the cab ride won't break the bank. The Hess stations on property don't have much.

Most 7-Elevens (especially those near the airport) have a small selection of local craft brews. You'll find CCB Jai Alai and some offerings from Bold City in Jacksonville in cans which should hold you over. Otherwise if you're not taking Disney ground transportation have your cab or driver stop by Knightly Spirits on the way to the parks, it's literally right off the 417 exit on OBT on your way and they should have anything and everything you could want in stock.

Just so ya know, Uber operates in Orlando now, too.

Is price a hang up for you? If you haven't looked at the Beers and Ears app yet, you can get a lot of good craft beer now at WDW, especially at various restaurants and pool bars. You will, however, pay much more than you normally would. So if that doesn't bother you, you can save yourself the effort of going to a store. Your call.

The strategy I employ is probably a little late for you now. When going to Disney we always fly into Tampa. Much easier to get in and out of and a fraction of the cost. It usually costs about the same to fly there and rent a car as it does to fly into Orlando. The drive is only about 30 minutes further. Then I make sure to stop at Cigar City and grab a sixer or two and some bombers.
