I found a place that gets Zombie Dust in Indiana and is about 130 miles from where I live. I've been thinking about taking a road trip to pick some up when it's available there. Question is...how far has anyone driven to get beer they wanted?

    Cheers!

As soon as I read the first sentence, I was thinking "that's a little over the top", and then I remembered that I drove 120 miles to get some beer in charleston.

Edit: And 140 miles to Jacksonville for beer.

In two weeks I'll be driving 100 miles to Alpine Beer Co. to pick up some beers. First time driving that far for beer.

I don't think I'd go more than 30 miles specifically for beer, unless I found something else that the family and I could do that was in the area.

I drove round trip from Gainesville to Tampa to wait in line for 2 hours for Zhukov and just drove on back. 134 miles each way. Also managed to find some BA Big Sound which made it a little more worth the drive.

187 miles each way. Oklahoma distribution sucks. Arkansas has some stuff we can't get

That's impressive...I think. Kinda makes me feel better about going through with it. I'm going to look up breweries and other places on the way

Depends, I guess - for one specific beer I wouldn't go more than maybe an hour each way. If I were going to stock up for a while, i'd drive to vermont.

I drove about 2.5 hours to visit Dogfish Head. That's the farthest I've gone specifically for a beer related purpose. How far would I go? I'm not sure. I've considered going to Vermont specifically for beer, but I haven't done it yet. That's about a 7.5-8 hour drive.

I had checked into a motel in a dry county in Kentucky once, I didn't realize it until I asked around about beer. I drove 40 miles each way for a 12 pack. I never made that mistake again.

I get beer when I am somewhere. I don't travel far for the exclusive purpose of getting or drinking beer.
