My buddies and I just booked a trip to Delaware to visit and tour the DFH brewery and brewpub. We live in Ontario, Canada. 503 miles each way.

I drive to San Diego a couple times a year. It's around 350 miles from my house. Definitely worth the drive for world class beer.

    This year alone...

Drove to Hill Farmstead / Waitsfield Farmer's Market / Hunger Mountain Co-op from Jersey three times (400-425 miles one way)
Drove to Dieu du Ciel in Montreal from VT (140 miles)
Drove to Brewery Ommegang from Jersey (250 miles)
Drove to Brooklyn Brewery from Jersey (78 miles)
Drove to Tröegs Brewing Co. in Hershey, PA from Jersey (136 miles)
Drove to Tired Hands Brewing Co. in Ardmore, PA (52 miles)
Drove to Kane and Carton from my side of Jersey (50-70 miles)
Drove to Dogfish Head Brewery in Milton, DE three times (150 miles)
Flew back home to San Francisco, and drove to Russian River in Santa Rosa, CA (2900 miles + 42 miles)

oh, and this is not counting the times I drove to Philly for Monk's Cafe (PtY, Who Let Tom into the Brewery) or drove to Wayne, PA for Teresa's Next Door

Before you wonder why I travel so far for beer, the closest place to me that doesn't exclusively sell BMC beers is 20 minutes away by car.

Are you me? I did just that in July. I also went to Night Shift to make the trip more worth it. I should have just spent more money at Jack's Abby.

Someday I'll travel to Belgium just for beer and on that day I'll be here to record time and distance properly.
    One fine day it'll be.

This thread basically sums up what's wrong with craft beer these days. You complain about lines too long, this thread is why. What a shame.

100 miles round trip to hit Casanova liquors in Hudson, WI. Do this about every 3 months to get my New Glarus, Dogfish Head, and any other beers not distributed to MN.

Starting to think about Vt again, distance isn't much of a concern, but I want to avoid 95 North and all the hassles. It's also leaf season and I don't really want to pay premium prices on a room when they're already high enough. The room could make or break the trip, I'm not paying beach front prices.

Some folks posted their longest trips with a distance that is shorter than my trip to my closest beer store.

Just got back from Vermont, but it was to take my youngest to college. Of course I got beer.

Little River State Park has cabins for reasonable and is in the heart of Vt. beer country, even cheaper to tent there, and it is the most beautiful park imaginable. 5 min. to Pro Pig, Black Back, and Reservoir, 15 min to 3 Penny and Hunger Mountain, 20 min. to Lost Nation and Trapp , 30 min. to Fiddlehead, and , 50 min. to Hill Farmstead.

Great Info! I was looking at rentals and damn near had a stroke I saw one listing at 20k a night, as in for one night. Just need to beat the snow season. I'll check out Little River, thanks.

I drove 300 miles round trip last year, to go to Three Floyds brewery, all in one day. I got my 2 case limit and got 2 more cases at a liquor store a few miles away. Well worth the trip
