I might go stay at my sons in NY and just make a long day drive, drive alone from ft Drum probably 11 hours round trip not counting shagging some beers. We'll see I forgot about leaf season which is a hassle in western NC too.

341 miles to Hill Farmstead. I mean I made a bunch of other stops, including Warren and Waterbury, but still that's f-ing far to drive both directions in one day.

Definitely helps that stores in NJ are about 10 miles away and CT is about 25 miles away.

I used to make a road trip of it and visit several breweries and a special release or two. Thousands of miles total.

When I sold a previous car I worked out that 55% of the 125K miles I had put on it had something to do with beer.

Now I just homebrew. I've gotten too old to sit in a car that long anymore.

I've gone no more than a couple of towns but my buddy and I are headed to Hill Farmstead soon so that will change but I think that would be the limit.

CT to FL for Cigar City, 1,200 miles each way. Did have to stop and see the in-laws, but I spent more time hunting beer so in my book it was a beer run.

1,200 miles each way to Hill Farmstead from Atlanta and back. It was more of a "this is my last chance for a while to go on a crazy long road trip" kind of trip. Of course, I stopped at a ton of other breweries and a few other places on the way. Oh, and it just so happened to be the HF anniversary/Lawson's Triple Sunshine release the weekend I was there, which wasn't part of the original plan. A pleasant surprise. Expensive, but pleasant.

800 miles each for the Shorts Anniversary party from NC to MI for some Double Stache' and to impress a cute girl. Totally worth the 14 hour drive each way. :grinning:

I may very well drive four hours north to Founders Brewery in Grand Rapids. To eat a sandwich and drink something on tap. Besides that, nothing quite as dedicated as the rest of you. I once drove around North East Indiana looking for a liquor store that sold Old Style for my dad. He drank it in the Army and hadn't had it in years, so I thought I'd look for some. I drove about 40 miles to locate some. This was the day before New Year's Eve, 2013. Now there's a joint that sells it ten minutes from my house.

Drove about 420 miles (each way) to get Heady Topper. A bunch of other things, too, but mostly Heady Topper. Thinking about a road trip to Indiana soon for some Zombie Dust myself.

Last week I drove down to Athens visiting Jackie O's for a case of Maples/Apps (1.5 hour drive). Talked to the owner, met the assistant brewer who has a degree in Chemical Engineering (WHAT!?), and hung out with Brutus the brew dog.

I went from Pa to Freeport Bahamas to Sands brewery(6 days...miles unknown) At the end of their tour it's all you can drink for about 20-30 minutes. I went their by Ship. Ok...so I didn't actually cruise there just to get beer. But! I did purposefully book that excursion while booking the cruise and was looking forward to it for months prior because I've done the tour before. Their 8% ABV stout isn't bad but the rest of the beer sucks imo. In 30 minutes I can pound down allot of stout!

I'll make the 180-mile round trip from where I live on the Monterey Bay up to San Francisco to spend a day in the City and hit up Cellarmaker every couple of weeks.

Luckily, I live 11 miles from Sante Adairius, so I'm able to go there much more frequently!
