So I've bee tasked with selecting the beer for a friend's wedding next year, which happens to be in Montreal. Now, I know one of my selections will be a Dieu de Ciel beer, but I wanted to know what distribution looked like in Montreal to know what sort of options I might have for the second beer. Thanks for any help you can offer.
You will be able to choose from a lot (if not most) of the beers brewed in QC and the import selection of the SAQ (state liquor stores). Apparently, by next year you will be able to add one brewery from ON to that list (Beau's). I have no idea about kegs or where you go about getting them here (or if you can). Because otherwise, buying craft beers from the store for a wedding will be expensive as all fuck.
You are best to contact the breweries directly, there is a company called distributair that does deliveries to far parts of the province that may act as an agent if you want more than one brewery. When you get much closer to the wedding beer mail me privately and I might be able to save you some of the leg work.
