So what style is 13 going to be again?
Also I saw 2 cases of DR 12 on the floor of Kroger on Buffalo Speedway
Images just in from Kroger on Buffalo Speedway:
i might have to take a day off for this. You ipa motherfuckers betta stay outta my way.
This is Austin, not Houston.
Move at a normal pace. It takes at least a week to run dry. I saw it in places 3+ months after release last time around.
Thats because i didnt rush out to get any
Good to know.. now I'll just plan a fun Austin trip the weekend after the release..... and bingo... no rushing around... and fun in Austin with friends....
I still have 9 bottles of DR 11 if anyone in the Houston area wants to trade for some message me. I would like to get a few more DR 12 to age.
This sounds like a post I too would have made "Day 2" of my BA existence.
Ewww.... Old Endeavour....
My guess is that we will start seeing Divine Reserve in 4 packs since they went that direction with Icon. That would help make it more widely available.
This is hilarious.
Yes that would be my avatar... hahaha
You should totally put that DR11 on the trading forum. Some nincompoop will trade ya something for it!
From the saint arnold website regarding DR 11
They just wanted to make sure that people would still hoard cases even though it wasn't a style that was meant for cellaring.
I actually really like this idea. I'm ok with getting fewer if it's easier to find.
I haven't heard anything about this.
Let me turn that guess in to a suggestion then!
Doesn't matter when them cats in Houston are buying Divine Reserve by the CASE!
The mad dash will still be on.
Somebody who tried their first craft beer will hear about it and decide he needs 2 cases.
I do not understand this. Saint Arnold released the beer, while specifically stating that it was young and needed to be aged for a year. I'm waiting until it passes the year mark to make a judgement on how it's developed. I have 2 DR12 sitting in my closet. And another 8-9 or so in a temp-controlled chest freezer and mini-fridge. You know. For science.
I had 10/11 fresh........just like 12.
Maybe when I try 12 after a year I'll like it. But Fresh it wasn't like 10 or 11.
Different strokes for different folks.
All styles of beer are treated differently though. Obviously the 12 needed some age. I've got quite a bit sitting and waiting for a bit to crack in to them. Had it fresh on tap and it was okay. From the first glass I could tell it needed time.
Just had one last week... still needs a lot of time.
DR10 needs to be swallowed down NOW. Falling fast.
I'll break one out tonight.
How about Bourbon Barrel Aged DR4?!
Collective minds blown.
I may have to do the same.
hard part is moving all the beer out of the way to get to it... lol
I have the exact same problem. I really thought this would last a lot longer
Are those guys 12?
"Bung the hole"
"Buh buh bunged"
Wish I still had some DR9 man, now that was special!
I personally loved fresh, cold, cask DR12 - Nothing like it.
Yes. Yes we are. I take my job seriously, but not myself.
Probably just having a good time, right?
