Would you guys view this as a fair deal? I'm having difficulty determining if its even.

If you're willing to trade one of those beers to get the other, just offer up that beer, ISO the other, and if it's gets done, then someone else obviously thought it was "Fair". If you're worried that the one you are willing to offer up in exchange for the other is "too much" in other people's opinions, then you're doing it wrong.

One is a $15 brewery-only release once a year limit 3 (this year). The other is a $10 brewery-only release with essentially no limit if you get back in line and is available sporadically when it's brewed/bottled.

Do you have one and want the other? Then yeah it's a fair deal

Someone offered an arthur to me for a DL. I just wanted to know if the trade was off and I didn't want to insult the guy by asking for too much more for the DL.

I'm pretty sure you can only get more growlers when you get back in line... not more bottles. At least this is always the case with special release beers (before every shelf bottle had a limit).

That said, Arthur used to be no limit and now is (fairly) limited. It was a 4-bottle limit at the Anniversary party (although that was such a crowded event I'm sure you could have gone back a second time or to another person selling things and gotten more than 4). OP, I don't think it's a terrible trade. Maybe ask them to include something small to make up $4$?

    Nailed it.

Also, only one of them is actually good.

There's pros and cons to each side. DL is also released 30 mins from a major US city and I bet the last release of DL was bigger than every batch of Arthur bottles combined.

Side note: If I offered you a trade like this and you took it to the forums to see if you should be extracting more from me, I'd be gone faster than D.B. Cooper. It's a fairly simple trade.

Yes. Plenty of people on either side would do this deal, so not sure what the problem is.
