Hello, I am thinking about coming to Munster on the 25th just for bottle sharing opportunities as I didn't get DLD tix and I'd love to do one major bottle share before I leave the midwest. From what I can see, the hampton inn one is the biggest. Is this true? Are there other options? is anyone going down for just this and would like to rideshare?

It sounds like the bottle shared at the Hampton will not be allowed this year. Something about people having a lot of fun and being loud or something...
I've been seeing murmurings about the Hampton too. I started a thread and am staying there with some friends. And know others are planning to share...so we'll see.
Where are you seeing/hearing that a bottle share won't be allowed at the Hampton? Just curious, because I will be staying there also.
One of the "other sites." An attendee last year (I met him at the Hampton share last year, so I trust his comments) called several weeks ago, because it is the place he's staying at. They told him "there will be no bottle share downstairs this year."
I just called, confirmed with GM that the hotel is okay with bottle share in the lobby as long as we're out of there by 11 PM. Also mentioned that somebody has reached out about reserving the conference room that night, but didn't know if it was for a bottle share or not. I just don't know who organizes the bottle share or if we all just show up with bottles. Seemed pretty official last year.
Nice. Last year, the share was "organized" by a former BA. Actually, was quite unofficial. There was no "list," iirc, just good people and tons of stuff. From what I recall, the sharing started about 6 pm. There was some glass breakage in the main foyer much later (probably after 11 pm). That explain the GM's time restriction. Last year, the conference room was taken initially by a young girl's party. When they left, the share spilled over there.
