For the second straight year at the 1st pub release the person in front of me got the last ticket. What are the odds?

If they sold out on the first day last year with a bunch of people on site being shutout, then it is possible that they will sell some more next weekend. I wouldn't hold my breath on it, however.

They made over 1000 bottles. And nobody picked it.

Great idea on FFF's part to sell the Moscatel the same day IP tickets are being sold. Shit ton of Moscatel laying around? Put it on sale when there are 500+ people in the industrial park. Great way to burn through that inventory fast.

It's almost like the FFF or the event company listened to fans and/or read forum threads or something...

Why? I'd be willing to do so if you wanted to work out a trade. Send me a BM.

Reading the reviews for BA Moscatel... do people actually trade for this beer for anything other than to complete horizontals?

It is a 90 so not everyone hates it.

I think the price tag is what keeps people away. (See: Bolt Cutter)

    Short answer...Yes

Long answer, it's still enjoyable, if you like dark lord. The barrel actually helps to balance and mellow it out vs add any extreme flavors. But people want it because it's still a barrel aged dark lord. Which are some of the rarest and hardest to obtain barrel aged stout in existence. Less than 8000 bottles across 12 variants. So the value is in the rarity and label. Full disclaimer, I had it on tap last year, and traded for a bottle (to complete a horizontal).

Anyone hear about that APB the state police had out this morning for a middle-aged single dude driving a 2000 Pontiac Grand Prix on I-94 at an extremely high rate of speed and yelling obscenities out the window directed at Three Floyds? Went by the name of "MNPikey."

Got in line by 8:50 and received one of the last 10 tickets. It was kind of sad seeing the small pile of tickets they had left meanwhile there's 20 people behind me in the small secondary line (after having ID's checked twice) all certain with their likelihood that they'll be walking away with a ticket after waiting for close to an hour and a half. I didn't like that so much.
