This thread went from "Lots of deep reflection on how beer has changed, how it's being ruined, asking myself why I even do this anymore" to "But I'll still drive blindly over night again next weekend because bottles are bottles. And attending is pointless unless we get bottles"

    Everyone else followed that, right?

Not sure myself? If my wife can't go I'll have an extra DLD ticket?
I Realize these tickets are nothing to joke about if you need one.
I probably won't know until the day of?

Just got here, about 20 people in front of me in line. Saving a spot for @sbxx , we have a good feeling that today is the day!

I went last Sunday and that crowd could have turned into an awesome bottle share, lol

6:30am Sunday April 6th ..nobody is in line at FFF. No barricades, no obvious signs that tickets sales will occur today. Will continue to wait for a while. Will post if anything starts happening.

I'm going out on a limb here and say no DLD tickets today.
But I hope that dude from Minnesota brings some Furious.

Or you could just hop over the border into IL and grab some Furious for yourself.

I really hope they release tix on a weeknight after the other businesses in the industrial park are closed. This shit with people showing up the last 3 weekends on a whim, with no official announcement from FFF, is getting rediculous.

I'm all for a weekday release in an effort to keep them local.

But an Easter Sunday release would be pretty metal.

Only problem with weeknight tickets would be the zoo factor. Place is already crowded on any given night. At least 10am sales avoids some of that. Either way im local and will be heading there when ever the tweets hits.

You guys do realize they post the info online when they do start selling tickets right?

FFF probably has someone take a look around 7 in the morning. They probably say something along the lines of "Yep, there's a few camping out waiting for tickets, better hold off another week <trollface.jpg>".

Seriously though, there is no need to camp out. In previous years; as long as you arrived within a few hours of the announcement you got a ticket to DLD. If you came on the 2nd (or even 3rd last year) in person release, you got a ticket with zero wait.

EDIT: But then again, that was previous years. Who knows what they will do this year.

Nope, working 32 combined hours yesterday and today. Still hope to get tickets via friends or buy them via a scalper.

If not, we're going to skip Chicago the weekend of the 25th and head south to St Louis (Perennial) and Tulsa (Prairie) and do some biking there.
