DLD tics at brewpub?

Yeah they post the info but first day of in person ticket sales is always a shit show

 

Did anyone else have some guy try to sell them way overpriced Blacknote at the brewpub this morning?

 

Some guy asked me if I would be interested in buying KBS and Blacknote for $50 a four pak :/ He told me its really hard to come by.

On FFF FB, it mentions the Brewpub will not be offering tours on Saturday April 12th. Let the speculation continue...

 

This happens approximately once a month anyway.

 

Agreed, it could be for a multitude of reasons. Although on one hand you can understand how FFF wouldn't want anything to add to the cluster that IP sales will be but on the other hand it is unFFF-like to tip their hand like that.

 

Thinking they realized that everyone comes down for the first day so they cut it down to one this year.

I know there is always a lack of information. But it would be nice for them I say something. Or at least tweet out early in the morning 'dont waste your time or gas today'. Maybe there is a delay in getting the tickets. Maybe they are waiting to see the actual darklord yield. Maybe they are waiting for a day when it's pouring rain. Maybe it will be Easter just to stir up the maximum amount of bitching.

 

People who complain about in person sales and the time they decide to do it at is hilarious. Guys, they are going to post a few hours prior to when they start selling. We all know the reason why they do this. I don't think they have to send out any message that says save your gas. Honestly, I think it's your fault for camping outside of a brewpub in Munster, IN for no reason. You shouldn't get mad at Three Floyds.

People don't seem to be camping there over night, most people get there around 7-730 and leave by 9-10. I dont have time to wait on them to tweet then make to trip (only 30 minuets) I have work at noon so it is easier going there on a hope then waiting around for a tweet to ensure if they do sell I can be in and out. Every weekend there has been less and less people there.

 

I feel like lots of beer folk are in a very Ike and Tina Turner relationship with three floyds. If they've really wronged you and hurt you so bad, why do you keep coming back to Ike or spend your time complaining about Ike after you accept his roses (or in this case beer)? Move on Tina turner beer folk.....ohhhhh whats love got to do with it, got to do with it, who needs dark lord when my heart can be broken....

 

So its easier to get there at 7am and wait, than to get a tweet at 9am saying tickets go on sale at 10am and then make the drive over?

 

I'm really not trying to be mean here but your logic is flawed. You don't have time to wait for an message on the internet yet you insist on waiting for 2.5 hours in front of the brewpub for no reason?

 

No flaw there. He has to work at noon so odds are if he waits for the message he will be at least 100 back in line thus making him late for work. By arriving at 7, he can get tickets AND go to work on time.

@Chiefilliniwek Yes, If they tweet at 10am saying they will be selling tickets by the time I get there I doubt I will be able to buy tickets and make it home then change and go to work. I am a Correctional Officer, I can't stand inline in uniform with my full duty belt and firearm in another state. @Socalfan21 your not being mean if you reread what I said you would realize that my logic is indeed not flawed I just have an extremely small window if time so instead of sleeping in I utilize my time differently. I wasn't bitching about it like some people were, i meet some cool people and even though I have been leaving empty handed it was a great time. @Drucifer You got it!

 

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hate-reads threads just for the laughs.

 

My only prayer is that Dear God, if I ever get shut out of tickets for a beer event, that I not turn into such an insufferable prick who goes to the lengths and measures as some in these threads. If I do, please just end it all before I start to whine incessantly and complain about my own actions and blame them on others. kthx
