Do any major chains sell shippers?

    BevMo does, as well as a few other liquor stores around here. You shouldn't need to order online.

    BevMo and Total Wine both sell them.

    Uhaul has 1,2,3,4,6, and 12 bottle shippers at their major shipping supply centers.

    The other option is head to your nearest Mailboxes Etc or similar shipping store. They typically have used ones at quite reasonable prices.
