The NOLA Brewing / Stone Bringer of Destruction IPA collab was one of my favorites and makes me want collabs year-round.

Luckily, I know one of the guys who runs Dogma. The Dogma/Modern Times beer will be an imperial porter brewed with Brazilian coffee and cocoa. Meanwhile, the Dogma/Stillwater collaboration is a saison brewed with cajamanga (sour Brazilian fruit).

The additional ingredients you mentioned are exactly why I'm excited about these collaborations... Of course assuming they'll make it stateside and I can track them down.

If we're lucky enough, my friend will come to California next year and collaborate at Modern Tines for the US market.

I'd argue that we're seeing more collaborations now than ever before, and more genuine ones vs. ones designed purely for marketing purposes.

Seems they're all over the place now. I will be honest however, rarely have I had one that was exceptional (from what I"ve experienced at least). Honest to god question..how much 'collaboration' is actually done between two breweries? do they hash out what they both want out of the end result or is it just "hey, here's what i'm doing..if you want come on over and we'll make it" and then we both can put our names on it and sell it?
