I feel that as my pale ale ages (pushing 2.5 months) the citrusy flavors/aromas that I got from late and dry hop additions of centennial, simcoe, cascade, and amarillo now seem more like pineapple. Is this common? Do you think that (1) citrusy oils are fading and allowing another to shine, or do you think (2) it is more that likely that pineapple comes from the oxidation of certain hop oils (e.g., the citrusy ones) or (3) something else?

I've only had the overripe pineapple fade into citrus (with amarillo being the dominant late/dry hop), so I'm guessing #1
