or halfs or quarters or anything in real quantity like that? Has anyone seen it on here? Would there be a market for it? I think i'd like to get into that game.
I would imagine shipping costs greatly limit this. Maybe costs in general in fact, a few local breweries require around a $100 deposits for the keg.
true. I suppose state laws would be an obstacle too. If within the same state, an IP wouldnt be too out there I dont think.
Not too long ago a guy was offering up his CCK for a sixtel of Bourbon County Coffee. Not sure if that ever went through.
One of the BIF's my friends are involved in required a palate and included at least one keg if I remember right.
I have seen a sixtel packaged and shipped. Think the same shipping packaging you might use to mail a golf bag, fortified on the sides with the stuff they put on the corner of appliance boxes and padded to help keep the box integrity. And no, it was not me that did this. I was told that the cost to ship was less than $80.
This was me. That trade changed a bit, but it was completed IP. I have traded for kegs a few times, but each one has been IP. To be honest, I would still trade any rare lambic I have for a good one off keg. While I enjoy good lambic, I can drink a keg for months.
