Well, I think I might brew, but it depends on the weather. I am daddy to my two girls all weekend, and am not sure if there will be enough time. I figure if I brew it will be a brown ale for my fishing weekend in Flin Flon (named Bomber Brown, look it up non-Flyer fans) over Memorial Day weekend (which isn't a holiday up North).

Otherwise it is the next weekend, where I will be brewing with a friend at a different friend's place, showing a newbie who does canned kits how to do the whole kit and caboodle and make better beer.

I will likely dry hop my APA/IPA. I now brew according to my kegerator so as of right now I need to wait another week or two. I need to get more friends to help finish off these kegs!

I am using up the last of my Apollo hops :slight_frown: on an IIPA .
All two row with about 5% cane sugar OG around 80. Maybe some flaked oats just for fun.
60IBU at the start, 60 IBU at 15 minutes. Then cool the wort to 160-170F and add 2 more ounces and let it sit a while. 3oz dry hops. WY1728.

If I find the time I will be brewing a hibiscus wit beer. I had Blue Moon's Farmhouse Red at the Rockies game and was intrigued to try something similar myself.

Brewing a specialty ale with the left overs that have accumulated from other brews. It will be kind of a "kitchen sink" batch.

If all goes well with shipping I should be brewing an oatmeal stout on Monday. This will be my first partial mash brew so I'm pretty excited.

    Yes, why do you ask?
When I obtained these I made and all Apollo IPA. When I put it into the keg there was a distinct tropical fruit flavor along with "citrus" but after a day or so the tropical fruit faded. It probably had something to do with not purging the keg with CO2 or something so I am going to go at it again and see if I can get it to stay around this time.

    Just curious

The descriptions of Apollo hops sound so damn tasty. I just wnated to know how they come across. Pretty citrusy you say?

Gonna be doing a simple blonde ale hopped with Sterling and Liberty hops, with the yeast from this batch to fuel yet another IPA in a couple of weeks. Using WY1968, and am trying to give it a shot at making it my 'house' strain. Previous attempts at creating a house strain have not worked out so well for me....

Not brewing until next weekend, but I am bottling my Saison this weekend. It got infected w/ Brett and tastes great, thinking of adding the 3/4 gallons of the beer I pulled off and added Lacto/Pedio/Brett to into the original 5 gallons at bottling to give it a little more flare. FG is already fairly low so as long as I don't carbonate high to begin with it should be good to go. Over time it will develop more funky/sour character. Next week is a Wit and a Gumballhead Clone.
