Different strokes for different folks. Do what you like.

Personally, I enjoy the smell of a beer as much as the taste and having a glass only makes the aroma better. So i always use a glass, but that's me.

Yes for most craft beers, (some that I have had a lot I do not put into glass)

And I do have several different type of glasses that I use depending on the style of beer!

Yes, unless I'm already drunk and have moved on to cheap shitty beers.

I use the snifter for just about every beer I drink! Exception is a mass produced beer that doesnt even deserve a glass

At home, bar, or GF's place: yes. At a party or something outside: depends, but no is fine for me in that situation.

99% of the time I drink from a glass. I will drink from a can every once and a while if I've had the beer before.

IPAs are fine out of the can/bottle, the extra carbonation and narrow neck accentuates the hop bite/blast more than a gulp from your shaker or sip from your tulip. IIRC, the science behind it is the increased surface area of foam.
Many IPAs are very intentionally "one trick ponies", the one trick being the in-your-face hop flavors. I don't mind an overly bright/fruity IPA like Bell's Two Hearted, Schlafly's TIPA, NB Ranger/Rampant/Accumulation, or a few others from the bottle/can. However, with my go-to IPAs like SN, Red's Rye when available, or most Lagunitas, I like being able to taste the malt, and pick apart the deeper hop flavors by drinking it out of a shaker.

Only BMC and Heady. Everything else is out of a glass unless I don't have access to glassware.

The real question is drinking it out of the bottle vs.out of a paper dixie cup or frosted mug???? HMMMM?

See this is what I don't get. I'm getting a lot of 'only heady'. The can says to drink it out of the can - so you do that and still believe that it's the only IPA that's good right out of the can? That's bunk.

Anyone who believes that HT should be drank from the can but Abrasive should be poured into a glass needs to stop paying so much attention to labels and marketing.

That Brooklyn Silver Anniversary straight from the corked and caged 750ml must have been awesome!

This is an interesting subject. I am about to hop on Caltrain (one of public transit in Bay Area) which allows drinking. I brought a green bullet, but couldn't find a plastic cup. I will seek one out, but otherwise, I will be drinking a TIPA out of a bottle!

But, wine and bourbon usually don't come in individual serving size bottles.

What does that have to do with it?
