Light as in.. light in body, flavor, finish, and alcohol?

Or light as in calorie counting like a vain woman?

I brew a light 4% blonde with Amarillo and Centennial that is light in body, color, finish, and alcohol when I want to pull more than a few pints from the kegerator during football or lawn care.

If you are worried about calories.. stop drinking, period.

I don't purchase it for my own personal drinking but if my boss at work has me do a beer run, then that's what I'll have with them. Otherwise I can't see spending money on it.

Sure. Not all my friends are craft drinkers, so sometimes you drink what is available. I have yet to die from it, so it can't be all bad.

I will drink Budweiser, Coors Banquet or MGD but not the lights. If as a guest only light is offered I drink wine.

Never been a light beer drinker, but the lowest beer I drink is Labatt.

Sure - Genny Lager on a sunny afternoon at a baseball game - virtually right next to the brewery - just hits the spot. But I can't remember the last time I bought bottles of anything with "light" in the name.

Founder's All Day IPA has 147 calories, that's close enough for me. Admittedly, I do enjoy a Corona Light with lime on exceptionally hot days...but that still has 109 calories.

Yes, yes I do and without excuses. Been drinking craft since around 2000 and 99.9% of the time thats what I drink. I was hooked after my first sip of a Stone IPA. But, still to this day I have the occasional BMC and or even Corona with a lime. No problems with drinking them either.

Yeah, when I'm on my period, at a rodeo, the Raiders game, working on my lifted F-350 or at the latest Sprint Cup or NHRA event.

I can't remember the last time I had any of those beers in my fridge. I think that it's been at least 3 years.

If I'm drinking a beer, I don't bother worrying about calories. The way that I see it is that it's just empty calories if you're drinking a beer you don't like.
